I agree, there was a lot of conglomerate in that canyon. I gotta say, that canyon was a pleasant surprise. We left AB last weekend, the blog is running about a week behind real time right now - but we are now staying in Newport Dunes for about a month. I was planning on sending you an email, it would be great to meet. We are trying to take advantage of these clear skies over the next couple of days, going to hit LA, Catalina etc., I will send you an email in a couple of days to see if we can work something out. I think "junk congolomerate" and "solid mud" are more useful geological terms :) Cool photo! When do you return home? I'd love to come down and meet you.
