In all my years of doing this blog, I had never posted an iPhone photo, and now two in a row! This will help explain why I have been so busy the last couple of months and not posting much.
As we flew home from Arizona yesterday, we closed on this beautiful saguaro covered 10 acres of remote Arizona land! It is North of Tucson, just over the hill and a short hike from the Ritz-Carlton. It is surrounded by State Trust land on two sides in a little pocket of private property. But despite being remote, we have water, septic and power! We could park our RV here tomorrow.
I have been looking for the ideal piece of property for photography for a couple of years now, and found this last December. Now, I can’t wait until I can put up feeders, a small pond and photo blinds to see what will appear! On a recent visit to the property last month, we saw a bobcat! But I’ll have to wait a bit as I head back to Antarctica on Friday.

Very cool Ron! Looks quite remote despite the proximity to town.

Thanks Richard – you are right!
Very jealous 🙂
Nice Ron! Looks like a beautiful property. Does this mean you’re leaving Alaska?

Thanks Bob!
Thanks Russ! No, just in the winter. Not unlike we do now, but will be taking our trailer to this property instead on RV parks.
Congratulations Ron! Looks Like you have the very best of two worlds.
