That’s a great shot Ron, and I love the multiple rings of blooms. What lens did you shoot this with? This looks like it would be an easy subject to get sharp, but they’re not–for some odd reason the petals of those cacti photograph soft, even when shot with great care. The depth of field here is pretty amazing. Great shot.

Thanks Jeff! I know what you are saying, they can appear soft. This was with my Canon 100mm macro lens at 125th of a second and f/13 on a tripod.
