@ Scott Good question – I haven’t seen or heard much about a caribou rut. I don’t think it is anything like what we see with elk or even moose.
Looks GREAT! I just saw elk aplenty in Yellowstone last week, and it was rutting season. Lots of bugling and bulls jealously guarding its harem.
I missed seeing a caribou in Alaska earlier in June this year. Somehow! Wish I did!
