This in another photo from my time in Kenai Fjords National Park last week.  Can you spot the mountain goat?  It is amazing where these guys live!  Below is a little closer photo which will give away the  Mountain Goat’s location.

Well this is as beautiful of a scene as you’ll find with a Mountain Goat. Funny thing is I had the exact same thought while in Glacier National Park last week… it is amazing how these creatures live on the edge. I ended up taking a vertical panoramic that I’ve yet to publish of Mountain Goats on a very tall cliff in Many Glaciers. As soon as I get it out I’ll point you to it.

Hi Jim,

Thanks a lot!

Glacier is such a wonderful National Park – I look forward to seeing your mountain goat image, along with everything else from your whirl wind trip!

I am always fascinated by how an animal of any kind, even as small as this goat in the frame, becomes a major point of interest. Once I found it, it drew me to it and the meaning of the image totally changes.

Hey thanks Paul. I think this could be cool as a really big print – one where the goat would be more obvious in such a cool environment.

Thanks,

Ron
