We have been seeing a fair amount of Colorado Columbine wildflowers at higher elevations – above 7,000 feet.  They are a beautiful wildflower.   Unfortunately there are very few wildflowers here this year.  Like most of the west, it is extremely dry.

After photographing the barn in yesterday’s post, I noticed some buffalo heading towards one of the other barns.  I waited, and sure enough they eventually past in front of this barn.  This was about two hours after sunrise.

Mount Moran this morning (Monday), Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming.

It was a great morning – found baby buffalo, a Grizzly Sow with cubs, bull Moose, Elk and Antelope!  Captured with a Canon tilt / shift lens.
