Court of the Patriarchs by Moon-light

Court of the Patriarchs

Court of the Patriarchs, Zion National Park, Utah.

This was last night under the full moon.  Man it was bright!  We were even making shadows.

This was a 30 second exposure, I was surprised by how much color and detail the digital camera was able to capture.  Fun night of photography after a great hike to Angel’s Landing, but more on that tomorrow.

Nice! It was full moon the last two times I’ve been there too but I didn’t shoot anything after dark. Must have had too many carbs for dinner so it clogged up my brain functions. It is nice to be able to walk around a place with no electricity under moonlight though.

Hey Ron

I thought for SURE there’d be a wolf up on this blog today – nope. :(

This is pretty sweet .. I’m surprised at the amount of color you got .. testimony to how much the moon was reflecting the light, I guess.

Cheers

Carl
