Dall Sheep in Polychrome Pass, Denali National Park, Alaska.
This is the same ram in nearly the same place as my last Dall Sheep post, but the following morning – fortunately he hadn’t moved out of that wonderful patch of foliage!

I’ve been on “nights” for over a week so what a superb group of photos when I logged on again — the colours are truly amazing.
Geez Ron. Seems like you’ve seen just about every type of mammal at Denali during your trip. I’m sure the wolverine in the landscape is coming next as you’re just posting these as a teaser. 🙂
That patch of foliage does indeed make this image pop so well! Denali is high on my bucket list — thanks for being able to bring me there despite my being here in Texas for the time being!

I saw them, too, but they are only dots in my pictures. Congratulations on another grand shot.

I love your composition! 🙂
Looks like he’s posing for you. Your latest series of fall photos from Alaska has been absolutely stunning!
