Desert Bighorn statues, Borrego Springs, California.

I would like to say that I captured some wonderful interaction between Bighorns in killer light – but, these are just two of the many full sized metal statues that can be found throughout the Borrego Springs area.

Nothing too exciting going on here right now – we are spending a lot of time in the office editing, keywording and adjusting photos from our last trip, like this one.  I will likely share a few more in the days to come.

I’ve often thought about how photographers incorporate other artist’s work into their own. I think this presents the works in a way that is very complimentary.

When I first saw this Ron, my blood pressure went through the roof and my left eye shot right out of its socket. I finished reading the article with my one good eye and luckily I began to recover after I read that these were statues. (I did locate and replace the missing eye also, thanks.)

LOL – thanks Todd. That would have been my reaction as well – that is why I made sure I mentioned statues in the title – this would have been a treat if it was the real deal! Maybe one day. Thanks!

Impressive Ron. I would think a situation like this would require quite a bit of shutter speed! Quite rare you see “action silhouettes”!

Thanks a lot Mark! Thanks to the useable high ISO’s in today’s cameras, this shot just might be possible.
