Desert Bighorn, Zion

Desert Bighorn, Zion National Park, Utah
We watched this guy today chase one of the ewes around up and down these step cliffs for almost a half hour, it was very entertaining! I have always been amazed at the steep terrain these guys can traverse with ease.

Man. You get all the cool shots and you live 3,000 miles away.
I had no idea desert big horn frequented Zion.

Thanks Richard,
I didn’t either. Some nice local guy hauling a load of firewood saw me with my camera and stopped and told me about these guys. Then as we are watching these guys, a local horse riding guide stopped and told us about some Indian art, and another person told us about an hidden waterfall. I must have some sort of positive energy thing going on right now!

Hey Ron
Well, you’d get more positive energy flowing if you posted more wolf photos.
Is it snowing where you are?

Hi Carl,
You know I do feel something getting in my sandals and between my toes - O wait, that is warm sand, not snow!
Actually, I love snow, I would love to see Zion in some.

Hey Ron,
“Sandals”??? You’re wearing sandals? I’m about to run out and buy some Sorel or Baffin boots, not sandals. And I bet you didn’t spend the last 2 days getting studded tires, neither.
Cheers

That is no fun! Glad I put my studded tires on before I left.
I’m just getting even from all those times I emailed about the snow and cold, and you boasted about how warm it was in Atlanta!
Just meet up with Guy Tal - going back to join him and Marc Adamus around the campfire tonight - you should be here!
