Bald Eagle, Chugach National Forest, outside of Seward, Alaska.

I found a couple of eagles feeding on some kind of carcass someone had dragged into the nearby trees; it was too far consumed to be recognized.  I didn’t expect this one to land so close, I was barely able to keep it’s wings in the frame.  Check out more bald eagle photos.

    Thanks a lot Richard!

    I was lucky to have the wings in front of the white background, and the head and tail in front of the darker portion of the mountain.

  5. hey Ron,

    he didn’t give me a credit . he took that page clean off my website .. and I don’t think he used any of my other eagle photos. but how’s this? I got a request for the image that appears right before my ‘photo credit’. Is that your photo? If so, let me know and I’ll give you a buyer.

    Cheers

    Car;
