Looking across the Inner Harbour at the historic Empress Hotel.

We are hitting the office pretty hard right now, so I thought I would share a few more photos from our recent Canada trip.  This is another one from the beautiful Inner Harbour area of Victoria.   And yeah, that is how the spell harbor in Canada.

Check out more of our Victoria, British Columbia, Canada photos.

Quite correct too. Of course harbour should be spelt like that!! I suppose you would write that the “colors” are wonderful whereas I would write colours !!

Looks like a wonderful spot. Certainly your image presents it as such. Do you prefer a T/S lens for this work or does a regular wide-angle fit your needs?

Thanks for all the great comments!

Paul, I would prefer a t/s lens for this type of working – but spot required a fair amount of walking, so I decided to go light and left the t/s in the hotel. I do like the flexibility of the wide angle zoom.

That’s how we spell Harbour here as well, I think it looks better than harbor. Perhaps Canadians know better than other North Americans.

Yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised if Canadian knew better. :) I gotta say it looked funny to me at first, but I got used to it – I guess it comes down to what you are used to. I figured I better mention the spelling or I would have a bunch of Americans telling me it was spelled incorrectly – I do enough of that anyway!

Thanks John.
