For this I used a regular backpack.  Mine is a Mountainsmith, it is getting a bit old now, so I doubt the model is even available.  The thing I like about mine is there are nice tie downs on the outside for ice axes etc.  I use these for my tripod.  It also has a removable waist pack - this is nice for carrying lens and filters once in camp.</description>

I&#039;m curious as to what kind of camera backpack you use for your equipment on these types of hikes.  I&#039;m looking into getting one for my upcoming Yellowstone trip.</description>
