Exit Glacier Road, Seward, Alaska.
This was taken at about 11:00 at night earlier this week. I think it is easy to see why I make the 10 plus mile drive from Seward to Exit Glacier frequently this time of year, it is a beautiful drive!
This is Mount Benson. This area is roughly spit in half by the Chugach National Forest and Kenai Fjords National Park, so I will put this in both categories.

Great shot Ron-
Love the natural curve to the road & the warm light on the mountains. If a picture says a thousand words, this has “Mile Post” written all over it. Very nice.
Hey thanks Dave – that would be nice!
Very nice picture Ron, I wouldn’t of thought that there would be that much light at 11 PM.
Very beautiful place.
I wonder how many drivers have a problem with that curve in the road because they are watching the beautiful vista instead?!
Janine should be in this shot with her roller blades on!
Great image Ron, how in the world to you stay on the road with a view like that though?
Thanks everyone!
It is tough to stay on the road!
I agree Jeni Girl!
Hi Dennis, yeah sunset is now after 11:00!
Thanks again,
Ron
Simply stunning scenery! How is it other times of the year?
Thanks Sunny!
It is wonderful in the summer and fall. In the winter this area receives a lot of snow. The road is closed during the winter, but it is one of my favorite places to cross-country ski.
How do you ever get any work done Ron? Wow.
Thanks Ricard, it is hard to get work done! Well, this was “work”.
STUNNING! I love it!
Thanks Noella!
Besides the wonderful image, a great concern about the documentary part. Just a perfect light and as outstanding composition. Congratulations.
Thanks a lot Ruben!
