		<description>Ron,
Nice photo of the cruise ship. We had such wonderful weather for this early arrival! We offered cruises on our schooner, the Alaskan Rover, but worried for weeks prior that the weather wouldn&#039;t be condusive to a sail in mid-April. We had 10 passengers from the cruise ship who all had a wonderful sail with us.
The ship&#039;s port of call was a great boon to our local economy, which is grappling with the current economy and the immediate road closure and shut down of Seward this weekend of April 25th. But we are looking forward to a wonderful summer and seeing more of your fab photos!
Indeed, some of our Alaskan Rover passengers from the cruise ship mentioned that one of the most exciting parts of their voyage was being chased by Somalian pirates. Not a lot of details, but they did verify the event.
Nice blog! Thanks.
