This Summer has been busy, but it is about to get busier!  I’m hitting an exciting stretch that I have been looking forward to for some time, although I’ll only be home one day over the next three weeks!

Early this morning I’m flying to Ketchikan to begin my bear and whale yacht based photo tour.  Not only are we going to visit and see some amazing sights, but I have traveled with everybody but one person, and in most cases have done multiple trips with each person, so I know it is going to be a really fun group!  For me, the bears and whales will just be a bonus, although I don’t think they will agree.

Then a couple of days in Juneau with a friend, home for one day, then off for another Alaska Bear Photo Tour!  With all those cubs the June trip was amazing – I still have a bunch of photos I’m excited about that I haven’t had a chance to share from June!  I’m anxious to see how the cubs are doing.

So I may have internet at times, and if I have time, I’ll post some updates, but if you don’t hear from me, you will know why.

  1. I wonder how many of your images you enhance by having the gorgeous fireweed in the foreground or often lupine. I certainly like the impression so have started doing it myself!

  2. It is the amazing clarity in the foreground that enhances these photographs even more! A beautiful photo, Ron, but you have so many that I fear that my comments are becoming repetitive!
