Hellhole Canyon Wildflowers

Hellhole Canyon, Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, California.

The desert floor along the mountains is getting some wonderful carpets of flowers right now.  The Purplemat seen here along with the Yellow Woolly-Daisy are extremely colorful right now.

looks liek it is shaping up to be a good season. i had a problem getting sharp flowers last week because it was breezy outside. i’m sure its worse today as its supposed to be windy.

You know it started blowing pretty good here – more than just flowers, there was dust and sand as well which makes it no good for cameras or vehicles.
