Home Sweet Home – But Leaving Again?

Well it has been a very busy week – thus the lack of posting.  Cleaning, winterizing and towing our RV trailer back to our storage spot, and then the long day of travel back to Seward is a chore that is nice to have behind us.

Yesterday (Thursday) was the first day back in the office for unpacking etc. – and the day starts with an email from a very large TV production company we have been communicating with, giving me an opportunity to meet with them at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Conference in Las Vegas next week.  Truthfully, until yesterday, I knew very little about this conference, but the more I read, the more we felt this would be a valuable conference to attend – heck, there is even a master class in 3D filmmaking!

So we used miles and book flights and rooms and now before I had even unpacked, planned to leave again on Sunday!  I’m going to be traveling light and won’t even have my laptop, so unless I do a blog or two before I go, it may be a week or so before I post again.  See ya on the back side!

  2. Hey Ron,

    Congrats on the gig.

But, uhmm .. “winterizing” your RV? You leave it in Chile or somewhere bro?

By the way, you don’t need a laptop, you can blog from your iPhone. 🙂

    Cheers

    Thanks Michelle!

Thanks Carl! I know – I almost removed the winterized comment because it does sound weird. We will probably be back in the Fall, but in case other opportunities arise, I always winterize it just in case, so I don’t have to make a special trip.

  5. I asked because when I looked at the blog on the 10th there were several “recent comments” on different, earlier posts that started with a numbers and letters gibberish and the following comment didn’t seem to apply to the post. I’m guessing a group was playing some sort of code game with the gibberish and comment on the blog but not sure. Seemed strange so thought I would ask.

Unfortunately my “comment” was on this post and not one with the gibberish. At the time I had valid reason for putting it here but apparently not a very good reason because now I cannot find one of the ‘suspect’ comments, but I’m guessing you can.

Thanks for bringing great weather north with you.

    Cheers!

    Hi Warren,

I wondered if that was what you were seeing – I saw the same thing myself this morning. Typically my spam blocker catches all those weird ones, but somehow those got through and are now deleted.

You are welcome on the weather – it is perfect down here in Seward today!
