Well I’m sure that title got your attention, and my friends are probably laughing and rolling their eyes – I better quickly explain.

Evidently, CBS has a daytime TV show entitled The Bold and Beautiful.  It was explained to us that one of the characters on the show is this guy who does a lot of adventure travel.  Well, CBS contacted us last week and purchased 7 prints of adventure activities to decorate the set that will make up this characters office.  These pictures will appear to be personal photos of the character during his travels and adventures.  The photo of me above is one of the seven.  So star is a big exaggeration – but someday, somewhere, a photo of me just might be visible on the Bold and Beautiful.  lol

Think of the possibilities, Ron – you can be your own paparazzi! Call the tabloids now.

That is pretty hilarious! Love the self-portrait idea too. Might have to use you as inspiration when I go down to Havasupai in a couple of months :-)

LOL – thanks everyone!

Good idea Guy!

Mike, has Havasupai reopened? We had a trip planned there this fall until it was washed out.

Hi Michael – it is a bit misleading as most these news items piled up over the last couple of months while we traveled.

Thanks DB – I can only imagine what kind of character!

Hi, Ron, I just found your website. Those photos are really beautiful, awesome! It has been my everyday reading.

Mark March 19, 2009 at 8:52 am

Hey, can’t you get that actor then for infringement of copyright if he claims your photos are his? ;-)

Very cool usage Ron. Next step, a print in the oval office!

Ron March 19, 2009 at 3:43 pm

Thanks Xiaobing, that is great to hear!

Thanks Mark! I think I have a lot more steps to take before I get a print there!

Too cool, and a great addition to your resume! Nothing wrong with being wall candy.
