It's been a year and a half and it's been caught on snags, gone over sharp rocks (doesn't feel good), and traveled probably around 300 miles on backpacking trips with me, and it still hasn't needed to be patched even once. It's not bad to take along backpacking because it only weighs 3 pounds with an inflation bag and the paddle I bought to replace the pathetic one it came with, and it's incredibly nice to paddle around on still high mountain lakes or ride down relatively calm rivers. I figure it's better to have the cheap version and enjoy it than have nothing at all while waiting to afford the expensive one. Because it was so cheap I always expect it to fail on me, but it just keeps going! I was in Alaska this past summer for 3 weeks and as soon as I saw your picture I knew it was Alaska, the colors are just richer there. Thanks for bringing back some great memories.
