Hey Ron,

I'm not 'razzin' ya, man .. I just think it's important to be accurate, for your own integrity, of course.

By the way, is there a bear or something in the photo? What's everyone looking at?

:)

Cheers

Carl

PS - nice shot, bro.

Hey Ron,

I think you meant to say "<b>Janine</b> doesn't need sleeves at minus 38" .. I can't see you in this picture, but I'll bet anyone a dollar you're all rugged up, probably standing next to a fire, in your fleece ensemble.

You guys have some big kayaks .. Get yourself a little lightweight one:

Thank you very much Chris.

You will definitely need to make a trip up this way someday - I'm sure you will end up making many!

Hi Ron,

Lovely blog you've got here ... I'm glad I found it. As far as the picture goes ... I'll have to admit to a bit of jealousy! I would love to kayak through there. Looking back through your posts, it seems Alaska has much to offer ... what a beautiful state. I can't wait to make my first trip there. As a bit of an aside, I'd love it if you could check out my blog if you've got the time. You can find it at:

Take care ... I'll keep checking in to see what new work you've got up.

Thanks guys.

Carl, it was just as cold in this photo - I don't need sleeves at -38. :)

You know Mark I was saying you need to bring your diving gear up to Alaska one day - now you better add the kayak as well. You are going to need a big vehicle to haul all the toys when you guys do make the trip!

Seeing kayaking images like this makes me wonder why I haul mine out just to go down the local river! :-) What an incredible view, and by kayak seems like a wonderful way to experience it.
