Kenai Coast

There in an extensive book written on Kenai Fjords National Park titled A Stern and Rock-Bound Coast. Seems like an appropriate name!
This was also from Monday night. I liked how a little bit of sun was lighting up the green hillside - it almost made it glow.

sea lions, orcas, and whales, oh my… Monday was great I hope we can do that again, Thanks for the business, and I did order a new camera from B&H Photo it is just a point and shoot but the web info was great I could easily compare cameras and get what I wanted and more important know what camera options my money was paying for.
Thanks again DB

Hey DB,
That was really fun - I’m ready to go again when we get another break in the weather! We need to break that camera in!
Thanks,
Ron

Killer shot Ron. I also like the light on the ridge, it provides that nice leading line of contrast to the mountain. Looks like a great spot.

What I really like is how an overcast sky still looks great in Alaska pictures. It just seems appropriate.

Thanks guys!
I wish the overcast sky didn’t seem as appropriate, but I think you are right Richard.

Thanks Beth - you are right, it is a beautiful place to explore up close. Not just the colors in the rocks, but the plants, flowers all of it is really cool!
