Kenai Coastline

Another look at the beautiful Kenai coast outside of Seward, Alaska.
You can see why this area is a challenging, but amazing place to kayak. Not only do you often have rough seas, but getting to shore can be pretty tough in many areas. But what a place to explore up close!

No doubt a beautiful place to kayak… if you can stay in the boat.
I can’t swim very well. The light and shadow on the cliff are awesome Ron. Imposing cliffs at that.

Thanks Richard.
This water is so cold that if you are swimming, you are probably in trouble!
thanks,
Ron

Some of my friends just did a Seward to Whittier paddle, about two weeks ago. They made some sails for their kayaks and managed to finish up a full three days ahead of schedule. They said it was very beautiful the whole way, I look forward to their photos. They also have been shooting video and make little movies to send back to their Grandma Ethel in Wisconsin, who shares them on Alaska Movie night - once a month at the nursing home. Love the light !

Hey Mark,
Great to hear from you - I missed your comment.
Wow, what a wonderful trip, through some amazing county! I bet they got some killer video and images.
Thanks,
