Yeah Tawny, he & Janine both ARE way too fit for this time of year! I would hate for one of them to get mad at me, find me & kick me!!LOL!! I bet Ron coud kick better than a Bronc!! SCARY!! If Carl has been getting any better at snowboarding, I bet he's got some gams on him, too! He has good-looking legs, too; all that hiking! I bet no snowboarding for him right now, though. -30 temps & a pure icefield under new snow, too. Way too dangerous!Nice to meet you, sister of Ron!LOL!

Nice camera bag...but, seriously, am I the only one who noticed your awesome legs (and I'm your sister, so I shouldn't even be impressed by this kind of thing!!!)? Not bad for an older dude!!

Thanks Dave! I hear you, just one more thing to put on the wish list - as if that list isn't long enough! I am amazed as to how well built, and yet light these bags are, Andy has done a great job. Hope you are staying warm!

Great review Ron, I've been looking at one of these since they were announced. I too have owned a Lowepro Photo Trekker for about 10 years. It's been a very reliable bag, and I agree that Lowepro is an excellent company to deal with. My Photo Trekker has put up with my abuse very well (I'm not the most gentle... or coordinated:)). But I love the weight of the Gura Gear bag, sooo light and by all accounts (now to include yours!) very well put together... Oh great... yet another purchase coming:)

Looks like a nice bag, nice that you can carry a 600 in it. I have had 2 Tamrac bags and like them but they are a little heavy at times. Mine has a place for the tripod but about the biggest lens I could get into it is my 50-500-enjoy.

Sounds like a great bag Ron. The tripod issue is a big one and would probably make it easier for you to get around now. I might get one myself now!
