This is another view from the top of the Stratosphere.  I was hoping for clouds over the strip – of course they had to move on right at sunset!

Hey Ron,

I know the feeling well – watching the clouds all day and thinking how nice it’ll be only to get skunked later. It’s rare that the sunset turns out nicely when I think it might .. more often, the good sunsets occur when I think nothing is likely to happen, and hunker down somewhere. I can never get it right.

Hi Carl – yeah, I sure know the feeling! This cloud was placed perfectly over the strip until right before sunset, the zoom – it had to move east!
