Unnamed? How could something so beautiful go unnamed, such a shame. I know, from now on, it shall be named Rick’s Peak 😉 but seriously, your work is GREAT – next time your out in so calif, drop me a note and I will buy you a beer for supplying me with stunning images to look at most every morning. It’s a great way to start your day.
I thought about making some jokes about naming this peak – Rick’s Peak works for me. I checked a topo map, and it didn’t show a name, but it is possible it has been named after the map was released.
Thanks! Sounds like a great trip – I hope the weather cooperates!
You know, light like this doesn’t happen until about 11:30 p.m. if I remember correctly. And the nice sunrise light such like in the iceberg photo from a few days ago takes place around 4:30 a.m. That part is a bit painful.

Unnamed? Get on the ball, man! Mount Niebrugge has a great ring to it.

Mount Niebrugge LOL – that way know one will ever be able to spell or pronounce it!
Beautiful image, Ron.
We’re planning to kayak and camp overnight in Aialik Bay in late June. What time of night would I have to be up to find light like that?
