McDowell Mountain Regional Park Photos

McDowell Mountain Regional Park, near Phoenix, Arizona.

We had enough coverage of this little gem to warrant its own section on our website here:  McDowell Mountain Regional Park Photos.  I don’t think too many people have heard of this regional park, I bet most people living in Phoenix haven’t visited it, but they should!  This place has a lot of diversity – it is surprising to find such a place so close to a city like Phoenix.  And, it has some killer mountain biking trails!

Looks like a beautiful spot!

That is what I love about Oregon! 2 hours from my home and I can be at the coast, 2 hours I can be in the Mountains, and on Sunday in 3.5 hours I will be in the High dessert! :-) We have it all right here in our Great state!

OK we don’t have all the beautiful frozen stuff you guys have LOL

Thanks Doris,

I agree – you have it very good down there in Oregon! You even have the frozen stuff if you don’t mind getting up there my Mt. Hood.

Thanks,

Ron

Great stuff Ron, hope the buyers find you since you’re the only one that has the pictures. :-)

Unfortunately I live 10 minutes from the mountains, 45 from the coast and am in the desert, yet I’m not really jumping up and down about it.

Thanks Richard,

At least you aren’t too far from the coast – there are certainly plenty of hotter places then where you are right now. You should come to Alaska!

Thanks,

Ron

Really beautiful pictures. I love the desert, it always offer a unique beauty just its own, probably just won’t see it in the summer. I really admire the whole set, they are just sooooo beautiful.

I agree Elizabeth, the desert does have a unique beauty, one that not everyone can appreciate, but I sure do.

Thanks,

Ron

I think I might be planning a trip up to Alaska within the next year or two. I don’t know if I’m interested in Denali, but am more interested in the cultural aspect and some of those glaciers that you frequent.

Wow – Great looking place to go explore next time I’m up there. Thanks for the heads-up, and beautiful shot Ron.

Thanks Rick!

Richard, you might want to hurry before the glaciers melt! Let me know if you need help with your planning.

Thanks Ron, I’m sure I’ll consult with you on that. They’re melting but not like tomorrow or anything right?

No nothing like that. You might have to walk a bit further to get to most glaciers, but they will stay be around for awhile.
