This is Janine enjoying the sunset view from our backpacking trip last month into Kenai Fjords National Park.

I had to go to great lengths to get into a high enough position so that her head didn’t merge into the distant mountains, I wanted to make sure she was positioned so that her background would against the fog.

This is an amazing photo Ron. It sort of reminds me of an old Galen Rowell shot where he is standing on top of Mt. McKinley or another peak of sorts looking out over the mountains.

Very nice image Ron! This is a good example of when you really need something RED in the photograph.

Great photo, Ron! Janine wearing red is what really makes this work. It looks like if she took one foot forward she would fall thousands of feet.

Thanks Scott! It is a bit deceiving. Janine could take a few steps forward, there is a couple of ledges just below her – but then it would be a big drop!
