There are a lot of wonderful, historic, Western towns that have been beautifully restored, but none have the mountain setting that Ouray does! The top photo is looking North, the bottom one, South.

You have a way of including foliage in the foreground that always works .. whenever I do it like that it looks like it’s a mistake or oversight.

We stayed in Ouray last year on our family road trip through Yellowstone, Colorado and Utah. It was a wonderful little town, and one of our favorite stops. Look forward to going back!
