Brown bear cub, Chugach National Forest, Alaska.
I wasn’t able to find the bears on Sunday – this is another photo from Saturday.

I sure wish I could see it bigger! This is a great image, Ron!
Thanks a lot MG!
I wish I could post them bigger. This is as large as this theme will allow, and I have tried, but seem to lack the skills to modify it! With today’s bigger monitors, I really need to look for a wider theme.
Thanks,
Ron
What a cool bear on the tree!! I love bears. There is so much to learn about them.
Ron,
This image is really special. I am especially drawn to images with great character, this one has it. The placement of the tree in the center is bold and in a sense diminishes the bear making it more a part of it’s environment. I think it’s perfect.
A nice one Ron. I reminds me sort of like that Jim Brandenburg classic wolf picture.
Thanks Richard!
Agree with Paul here Ron – this one has great character – and yes – does have a “Brandenburgesque” feel.
