Porcupine

Porcupine.

Usually when I see a porcupine, all I see is the backside and a lot of quills as it slowly flees.  It is nice to know these guys really do have a face!

I love these little guys so cute! But not so cuddly LOL

You should see what happens when a curious horse noses one! OY! not fun! LOL

Hey Ron,

Nice – I’m the same, every time I stumble over one I see the back end as they disappear, and it’s always nearly dark. I saw three porcupines this last week, and didn’t get a single shot of one.

Cheers

Thanks everyone!

I will take you word on the cuddly part Doris lol. I would hate to see what would happen to a horse!

Terrific pic Ron – I have always wanted to photograph these guys. Only have one image, and it is pretty crappy compared to this. Been away a bit, so trying to catch up on all your great posts.
