		<description>Yeah, we get a pretty cool earth shadow effect in Alaska as well.  This seems different - just a nice orange sky away from the sunrise / sunset.  At least while we have been here.

		<description>I don't know how much high altitude desert stuff you have photographed in the winter, but in December and January there tends to be some insane earth shadow in places like Joshua Tree and Northern Arizona. Maybe that is the same phenomenon going on here.</description>

There seems to be a nice orange glow to the sky every evening.  I just haven't been very good at being in position to take advantage.  The filter definitely darkened the sky a bit extra here giving it a richer look.
