To silhouette or not to silhouette – which do you like better?
I had been exposing for the cowgirls, Fay and Tabatha. But as that sky colored up, I thought a silhouette would look cool as well, so I exposed for the sky and captured the scene both ways.

I really liked the story told by the first photo, but then I scrolled to the second – and WOW! All that beautiful negative space too!
