it looks like your mountains rise straight out from sea level. What is the vertical relief? the clouds are cool.

You are correct, they do pretty much rise straight out of the ocean. I left the ocean out of this image since there are a couple of distracting buildings along the shore here. I think the tallest peaks are 5 to 6 thousand feet.
