Snow patterns from the air, Lake Clark National Park, Alaska.
We are heading to Halibut Cove for a few days so we won’t have web contact. If it doesn’t rain too hard, maybe I will have some photos to share next week.

Modern Art – I can picture this hanging in a New York High Rise as well as a Small Cafe. It’s a great pattern. Well done!
Very artistic Ron. Is that blood on the ice?
Very cool (pun intended). With no sense of scale, I wouldn’t have known what the object of the image was. As abstract art though the object is not important, right? Knowing what the object is though, just makes this piece fascinating.
Thanks guys!
Richard, the red color is some type of bacteria – you see it on the snow near the glaciers around Kenai Fjords National Park as well – especially towards the end of summer. Around here it can get kind of thick as it accumulates in low spots. Since this is from the air, I would say it must be pretty thick in this area as well.
Be sure to wash your hands before dinner Ron. You don’t want the bacteria to get in your mouth.
Well that’s what my mom used to say to me anyway.
LOL!
