Temple of Sinawava, Zion National Park, Utah.
I posted of photo of this spot last weekend. I really like this scene so I returned a photographed it again, this time I got further out into the Virgin River and much lower into the rapids.

That color of the riverbed is incredible. I gotta start studying at the Temple of Niebrugge. When you were in the river, did you have a pair of rubber boots? I always get my shoes soaked whenever I shoot the ocean or streams. The rocks and cold water make it too painful to go in barefoot!

Thanks Richard,
You know I had canyon shoes with neoprene socks and dry pants for the Narrows hike which I had planned to do the day after I shot this, so I just wore them and was warm and toasty as I sat in the water! When I shot this same spot the week before, I tried to do it in shorts and Tevas and it just didn’t work.
