Teton Snow

Teton Snow

The Jackson area has been getting some much needed rain since we arrived, which means some wonderful fresh snow on the Tetons!  Uneventful travel getting here, in fact every flight was early!

Wow. Certainly a different way of looking at the Tetons. See any fall colors?

Great fall colors right now – I think they are very near peak, maybe by this weekend. If the sun pops out a little, it should be beautiful.

You have any plans of photographing fall in the Eastern Sierra next month? I’m thinking of going if it shapes up. Bishop is about four hours from here.

I’m going to be so close, it is tempting. I think I’m going to head over to Moab after Tahoe / Reno just because that area is a lot of fun.

Nice shot Ron, looks great!
The mountains across the bay from homer were looking about like that today as well, gorgeous clear fall air with a little bit of snow showing on the tops. Definitely my favorite time of year in Alaska.

Great shot Ron. When Tom Mangelsen sees this photo, he will close his Jackson gallery.

Wish I were in Wyoming with you.

Thanks Scott!

I agree, fall in Alaska is awesome – especially this year since we had such great weather – it was hard to leave!
