Getting a photo of a Wood Duck was high on my wish list for this trip. Today I captured many!
These ducks are amazingly colorful, especially when the early morning sun hits them just right. A little bit of flash also helps bring out the iridescent colors in their feathers. There are many wonderful species of birds here, I should be able to stay very busy.
