It is interesting – since we arrived in Anza-Borrego, for exercise, we have been running in Coyote Canyon. Until Friday, I hadn’t seen any sign of blooming cactus. I skipped the area this past weekend, but went back Monday evening and lo and behold, there were numerous blooming cactus! Things can change fast!

Sure is beautiful in bloom Ron, nice images. I have put up another couple of Eagle images.
Beautiful ………those colors….
Wow! Amazing color, perfect light and great compositions.
So incredibly beautiful, Ron! Thanks for posting. You have an amazing gift 🙂 It’s great to see these images. Especially while it’s still just blue, grey & white here at home!

I love cactii flowers. What lens did you use for the closeup of the three flowers?

Thanks so much everyone!
Nice picture Ron,
We found some really nice yellow barrel cactus blooms last weekend in the southern end of the park.
Only saw a couple Beavertail but they weren’t blooming.

Thanks Borrego Bob – thanks for the update!
Wow, cactus flowers already. We’re still working on the fruit trees up north in Sedona.
