We have updated what believe it or not is one of our most popular sections -our gallery of Las Vegas photos. So check out the curved escalator on the left – didn’t know they could make moving stairs like that in a curve!
This is an HDR photo. I usually don’t use this process because the results can look a little over the top unnatural, but it seems to work will on Las Vegas, probably because the place is a little over the top unnatural!

Looking this photo I ask why It’s so clear and without contrast….for me this is impossible…then I read your explanation. 🙂 Thanks

Hi Stefania,
I usually try to add back some contrast to give it a little more natural look. Thanks!
I know. It’s not easy to have a real light in photo (when there is much contrast) without artificial help… any objective does not like our eyes…:(
Have a nice day Ron!
Sorry I forget a word…”any objective does not see like our eyes” but I’m sure that you have understood.. 🙂
Nice work Ron
This doesn’t look outlandish at all Ron. In fact, looks rather tame for Las Vegas. 🙂 I really like this look for interior architecture.

I did understand – thanks Stefania.
Thanks Dennis.
Hi Mark – thanks.
Nice shot. Do you ever manually blend the photos? I prefer that over HDR, though once in a while I get an HDR one that comes out nice.

Thanks Scott. I agree, if I do combine images for exposure, it is almost always manually. I also usually prefer that over HDR.
