A Least Sandpiper near Seward, Alaska.

This was from earlier this week – I liked how the sandpiper appeared to be checking out its reflection.

I wanted to thank everyone for all the constructive comments and emails I recived on the sandpiper blur image – lots of great insight, I really appreciate it!

I feel so inadequate! ๐Ÿ™‚ Another great image Ron, love the reflection and blur – great pose and lighting. Nicely done. Did the bottom of your lens get wet? Looks like you were close to the surface!

  2. This is really sweet Ron. I suppose going lower would mean an over/underwater shot. But there is an idea for you. I have never seen one of those done with shorebirds. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Thanks a lot everyone!

Hey Dave – bottom of my lens didn’t get wet, but I sure was! I don’t think I could get any lower without it getting wet. Thanks man.

Hi Mark – that would be cool – bird above water, little feet below. ๐Ÿ™‚
