This pond is along a golf course about a half mile from where we are staying. This was at the last light of day on Sunday, and although it is a man made pond and probably nothing in this photo happened naturally – I still thought it was still pretty spot.

I lived in San Jose in the late 60’s. I am sure that not much is recognizable as the orchards we used to play in have been replaced by suburbs! If it still exists, check out the Winchester Mystery House for a tourist attraction and post a pic (your assignment).
Hey Ron,
Sure is nice light. What are those trees in the background?
I 2nd Milo’s assignment for you.
Cheers
Carl
Very pretty
It looks nice with that warm light.
I love the Winchester Mystery House! Though it looks out of place today being so close to a strip mall. I remember Lonely Planet’s description, “the only mystery is why someone would build such a ridiculous house.”

Hi Milo,
Thanks for the tip – sounds like a good one! We have moved on to Lake Tahoe – If I get back that way I will look for it, Thanks!
Thanks Carl!
Thanks Dennis!
Scott – now you really have peaked my interest in that place – thanks!
The Winchester Mystery house is cool as is this photograph, but you will find much more to photograph around the Lake Tahoe area. Looking forward to seeing some…
