When I’m teaching a one on one workshop, I typically won’t take photos myself so that I can concentrate on teaching. But, I just couldn’t resist taking a moment to capture this photo of Patrick because this is such a beautiful setting. To think – this wonderful scene is within the city limits of Seward, just a few block from my house – easy to see why I live here!

I will have to see if I can find it when were there in 3 weeks
Looks like paradise, Ron. This is my favorite type of environment. Unfortunately they don’t exist in So Cal! 🙁

Thanks Dennis – I can point you in the right direction. By the way, your link in your name doesn’t work – takes you to flicker, not Flickr.
Thanks Richard – No, but then we don’t have your deserts which are sure nice in the winter.
Hi Ron – that shot looks familiar. Thanks again for a great workshop. I’m excited to get out and keep practicing. No doubt my photos will be better thanks to you.
Give a shout if you’re in Fairbanks.

Hi Patrick,
Great to hear from you – that was a lot of fun! I still can’t believe how fast you picked up on things – I’m looking forward to seeing your future images.
Thanks again,
Ron
Beautiful shot! Believe it or not, there are some streams in Rocky with fairly large ferns and trees overhead.
Do you have any photos of that beautiful tall, narrow waterfall north of Valdeze?

Thanks Joni – I believe it.
I have a couple photos of those falls here: http://www.wildnatureimages.com/search/index.php?pageId=1000&category=%5BSEARCH_CATEGORY%5D&module=search&pId=100&keyword=valdez+waterfall&imageField.x=0&imageField.y=0
Hope that crazy link works.
